Elektrod ESAB OK 73.08 Typ Basisk
CuNi-alloyed LMA all-current electrode which produces a weld metal with good corrosion resistance against salt water and flue gases, and was used for weather-resistant steels and for structural steel in ships. The weld metal has excellent mechanical properties. OK 73.08 is particularly suitable for welding armor steel in icebreakers and other ships operating in conditions where protective paint wears away. Intended for e.g. CORTEN, Domex 350W, UHBCCP etc. The good mechanical strength properties also make it suitable for welding general high-strength steels as well as ordinary and high-strength ship steels of A, D and E quality.
